Georgia High School Basketball - Union Grove tops Jones County

November 28, 2023: McDonough, GA 30252

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) and the visiting Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA), saw Union Grove's basketball squad knock off Jones County by a count of 49-39.

With the victory, Union Grove upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA) to play the Demons in a AAAAA Region 2 challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Warner Robins won 61-19 in their recent league challenge against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Houston County Bears (Warner Robins, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Jones County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 63-29 non-league win over Northeast (Macon, GA).
