Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX), 70-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pittsburg upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Pirates host Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-6.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Tatum Eagles (Tatum, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. New Boston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 53-37 non-league win over Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX).
