Texas High School Basketball - Pittsburg fells Queen City
December 28, 2023: Queen City, TX 75572 Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX), 51-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pittsburg upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Bowie (Simms, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 10-5.
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Redwater Dragons (Redwater, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Queen City will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 1-19 record after their 56-26 non-league loss to Miller Grove (Cumby, TX).
