November 28, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28227 The West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) basketball knocked off the host Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), 35-27 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Garinger (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Garinger notched a victory over Berry (Charlotte, NC), 48-20, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host South Mecklenburg for a non-league test on Thursday, November 30. Independence will encounter a Sabres squad coming off a 35-23 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 1-1.
