North Carolina High School Basketball - West Cabarrus holds off West Charlotte
December 30, 2023: Concord, NC 28027 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) and the visiting West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC), saw West Cabarrus's basketball squad hold off West Charlotte by a tally of 33-32.
With the victory, West Cabarrus improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. South Iredell lost 49-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)
Next up, the Lions confront the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. West Charlotte will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
