West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 42-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Cabarrus upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Providence (Charlotte, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Providence won 43-24 in their recent non-league bout against Harding University (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Olympic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Sabres go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 64-55 non-league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC).
