North Carolina High School Basketball - South Mecklenburg fells Olympic

January 26, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28273

South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 41-32 in a league bout.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Sabres host Berry (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cardinal in a bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Cardinal go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Berry lost 43-36 in their recent non-league bout against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Olympic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 50-30 non-league win over Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).
