Hawaii High School Basketball - Hilo knocks off Ka'u
November 28, 2025: Hilo, HI 96720 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Hilo Vikings (Hilo, HI) and the visiting Ka'u Trojans (Pahala, HI), observed Hilo's basketball team overcome Ka'u by a margin of 33-24.
The Vikings (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kapa'a (Kapa'a, HI). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Kapa'a dropped by Waiakea (Hilo, HI), 32-3, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Hawaii Prep Ka Makani (Kamuela, HI) in a Big Island challenge, on Saturday, November 29. Ka'u will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Ka Makani come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 20-2 non-league loss to Kapa'a (Kapa'a, HI).
