Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN), 53-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lawrence Central upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Carmel (Carmel, IN) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Carmel lost 63-54 in their recent non-league bout against Moline (Moline, IL)

Next up, the Flashes play the Brownsburg Bulldogs (Brownsburg, IN) in a Hoosier Crossroads bout, on Friday, December 2. Franklin Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 65-45 non-league win over Lakota West (West Chester, OH).
