St. Andrew's Lions (Savannah, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), 73-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Andrew's upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Westminster Schools of Augusta (Augusta, GA) to play the Wildcats in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 bout on Saturday, December 3. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 2-2.

With the defeat, Islands moves to 0-1 on the year. The Sharks travel to Jenkins (Savannah, GA) to face the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, December 2. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 1-1. Jenkins lost 57-53 in their recent non-league game against South Effingham (Guyton, GA)
