Texas High School Basketball - Spring Hill can't hold off Union Grove
November 29, 2022: Gladewater, TX 75647 The Union Grove Lions basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Spring Hill Panthers to 41 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elkhart for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Union Grove will battle a Elks team coming off a 61-37 non-league win over Overton (Overton, TX). The Elks record now stands at 2-2.
The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Frankston (Frankston, TX). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Frankston was nudged by Beckville (Beckville, TX), 42-29, in a non-league contest.
