New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque Academy tops Espanola Valley
November 29, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM), 47-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Albuquerque Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to play the Pintos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Pintos come into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Sundevils play the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Espanola Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 63-16 non-league win over Highland (Albuquerque, NM).
