South Fork Ponies (Kincaid, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pawnee Indians (Pawnee, IL), 43-27 in a league bout.

With the win, South Fork upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Ponies travel to Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Lincolnwood won 56-13 in their recent non-league bout against North Greene (White Hall, IL)

Next up, the Indians play the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Pawnee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 53-34 non-league win over West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL).
