December 13, 2022: Kincaid, IL 62540 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the South Fork Ponies (Kincaid, IL) and the visiting Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL), saw South Fork's basketball squad hold off Auburn by a tally of 49-46.
With the victory, South Fork improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Ponies host Staunton (Staunton, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Staunton won 66-35 in their recent league challenge against Vandalia (Vandalia, IL)
Next up, the Trojans play the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) in a Sangamo challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Auburn will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 64-47 non-league win over Midwest Central/Delavan (Manito, IL).
