Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting South Fork Ponies (Kincaid, IL), 54-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Maroa-Forsyth upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Tri-City (Buffalo, IL) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
