The Seguin Matadors basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Victoria West Warriors to 43 in the Matadors non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Matadors now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cuero for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Seguin will battle a Gobblers team coming off a 59-17 non-league win over Sinton (Sinton, TX). The Gobblers record now stands at 6-5.

The Warriors (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles come into the 5A Region IV District 29 contest with a 11-6 record.
