Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 61-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Montgomery Central upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Southern Lee (Sanford, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
