November 29, 2023: Sciota, IL 61475 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Elmwood Trojans (Elmwood, IL) and the host West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL), saw Elmwood's basketball squad overcome West Prairie by a tally of 42-26.
With the victory, Elmwood improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Delavan (Delavan, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Delavan won 55-52 in their recent league challenge against ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL)
Next up, the Cyclones confront the Astoria/VIT Rebels (Astoria, IL) in a Prairieland challenge, on Friday, December 1. West Prairie will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Rebels come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 50-37 non-league loss to Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL).
