North Carolina High School Basketball - Richlands can't hold off South Lenoir

November 29, 2023: Deep Run, NC 28525

The South Lenoir Blue Devils basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Richlands Wildcats to 47 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ayden - Grifton for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. South Lenoir will battle a Chargers team coming off a 71-29 non-league win over Southside (Chocowinity, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 3-0.

The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Heide Trask nudged West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 69-60, in a non-league contest.
