The Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets topped the host Northampton County Jaguars basketball team by a final score of 58-40 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, December 4. Roanoke Rapids will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 80-47 non-league win over Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC).
