New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Rancho overwhelms Valley
November 29, 2023: Rio Rancho, NM 87124 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) and the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), saw Rio Rancho's basketball squad wallop Valley by a tally of 83-43.
With the victory, Rio Rancho improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Clovis (Clovis, NM) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Vikings play the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Sartans come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 61-45 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM).
