The Farwell Steers football team (Farwell, TX), was beaten 62-40 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX)

The Panthers (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tahoka (Tahoka, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Tahoka achieved victory over Sundown (Sundown, TX), 42-14, in a league challenge.

The Steers now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olton for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 10. Farwell will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 31-25 league loss to Floydada (Floydada, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-3.
