The Friona Chieftans football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Farwell Steers to 27 in the Chieftans non-league win on Friday.

The Chieftans now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Slaton for a non-league battle on Friday, September 29. Friona will play a Tigers squad coming off a 32-6 non-league loss to Post (Post, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
