November 3, 2023: Chugiak, AK 99567 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Birchwood Christian Warriors (Chugiak, AK) and the visiting Cordova Wolverines (Cordova, AK), saw Birchwood Christian's volleyball squad beat Cordova by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Birchwood Christian upgrades its record to 12-0 on the year. The Warriors travel to Susitna Valley (Talkeetna, AK) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 4. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 16-6. Susitna Valley won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Cook Inlet Academy (Soldotna, AK)
The Wolverines now own a 12-14 record. They play next when they travel to Cook Inlet Academy for a 2A Borealis bout on Saturday, November 4. Cordova will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Susitna Valley (Talkeetna, AK). The Eagles record now stands at 2-12.
