Massachusetts High School Basketball - Covenant Christian Academy overwhelms Commonwealth
November 30, 2022: West Peabody, MA 01960 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Covenant Christian Academy Cougars (West Peabody, MA) and the visiting Commonwealth Mermaids (Boston, MA), saw Covenant Christian Academy's basketball squad wallop Commonwealth by a tally of 52-9.
With the victory, Covenant Christian Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Marie Philip (Framingham, MA) to confront the Galloping Ghosts in a Massachusetts Bay 2 challenge on Monday, December 5. The Galloping Ghosts come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Marie Philip won 74-15 in their recent non-league challenge against New York School for the Deaf (White Plains, NY)
Next up, the Mermaids confront the Brimmer & May Gators (Chestnut Hill, MA) in a Massachusetts Bay 2 challenge, on Friday, December 2. Commonwealth will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
