November 30, 2022: Winnsboro, SC 29180 The Fairfield Central Griffins basketball team (Winnsboro, SC), was overwhelmed 70-44 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC)
The Bruins now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a non-league battle on Friday, December 2. Lancaster will confront a Eagles team coming off a 73-50 non-league win over Lewisville (Richburg, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
The Griffins (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Newberry (Newberry, SC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Newberry trounced Union County (Union, SC), 50-48, in a non-league battle.
