Alabama High School Basketball - Clay-Chalkville tops Fultondale
November 30, 2023: Pinson, AL 35126 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Clay-Chalkville Cougars (Pinson, AL) and the visiting Fultondale Wildcats (Birmingham, AL), saw Clay-Chalkville's basketball squad knock off Fultondale by a count of 65-54.
With the victory, Clay-Chalkville upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL) to play the Mounties in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Mounties come into the challenge with a record of 3-5.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Dora Bulldogs (Dora, AL) in a 4A Area 9 challenge, on Monday, December 4. Fultondale will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 46-34 non-league win over Cordova (Cordova, AL).
