Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders (Granbury, TX), 39-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Meridian upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Santo (Santo, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Santo lost 53-38 in their recent non-league bout against Cornerstone Christian Academy (Granbury, TX)

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Bluff Dale Bobcats (Bluff Dale, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Cornerstone Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 45-41 non-league loss to Iredell (Iredell, TX).
