November 30, 2023: Poyen, AR 72128 The Poyen Indians basketball team (Poyen, AR), was toppled 65-46 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Fountain Lake Cobras (Hot Springs National Park, AR)
The Cobras now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Vernon-Enola for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 2. Fountain Lake will confront a Warhawks team coming off a 55-50 non-league win over Harmony Grove (Benton, AR). The Warhawks record now stands at 13-2.
The Indians (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Eagles come into the 2A Region 5 battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Conway Christian was toppled by Pangburn (Pangburn, AR), 56-50, in a non-league battle.
