The Poyen Indians basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Jacksonville Lighthouse Wolves to 40 in the Indians league victory on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host England for a 2A Region 5 contest on Tuesday, December 12. Poyen will battle a Lions team coming off a 52-49 non-league win over Lonoke (Lonoke, AR). The Lions record now stands at 11-1.

The Wolves (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Harmony Grove (Benton, AR). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Harmony Grove edged Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR), 65-39, in a non-league contest.
