The Penelope Wolverines topped the host Frost Polar Bears basketball team by a final score of 50-39 in Thursday's non-league game.

The Wolverines now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bruceville-Eddy for a non-league battle on Friday, December 1. Penelope will battle a Eagles team coming off a 34-33 non-league win over Riesel (Riesel, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.

The Polar Bears (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Iredell (Iredell, TX). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record.
