The High Plains Storm basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets to 20 in the Storm league triumph on Thursday.

The Storm now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fullerton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. High Plains will battle a Warriors team coming off a 39-30 non-league win over Burwell (Burwell, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
