November 30, 2023: LeRoy, MN 55951 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals (LeRoy, MN) and the visiting Houston Hurricanes (Houston, MN), saw LeRoy-Ostrander's basketball squad hold off Houston by a tally of 69-67.
With the victory, LeRoy-Ostrander improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Hayfield (Hayfield, MN) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Hayfield won 71-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Rochester STEM Academy (Rochester, MN)
Next up, the Hurricanes play the Glenville-Emmons Wolverines (Glenville, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Houston will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 70-55 league loss to Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN).
