The Palm Valley FIREBIRDS (Rancho Mirage, CA) basketball felled the visiting Public Safety Academy Phoenix (San Bernardino, CA), 50-40 in Thursday's non-league test.

The FIREBIRDS (2-0) will now prepare for their test against West Shores (Salton City, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, West Shores was beaten by Entrepreneur (Highland, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
