November 30, 2023: Zachary, LA 70791 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Zachary Broncos (Zachary, LA) and the visiting St. Paul's Wolves (Covington, LA), saw Zachary's basketball squad hold off St. Paul's by a tally of 58-51.
With the victory, Zachary improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Carver Collegiate Academy won 72-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Catholic-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA)
Next up, the Wolves play the Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. St. Paul's will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Red Rebels come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 61-39 non-league win over St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, MS).
