Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Warren Warriors (San Antonio, TX) and the host Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX), saw Warren's basketball squad overcome Weslaco by a tally of 35-23.

With the victory, Warren improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Holmes (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Huskies in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Holmes lost 65-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Westlake (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Sam Houston Texans (Arlington, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Weslaco will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
