Miller Grove Hornets (Cumby, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), 20-14 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Miller Grove upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Harmony (Big Sandy, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1.
