Texas High School Basketball - Bishop holds off Weslaco
November 30, 2023: Weslaco, TX 78596 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Badgers (Bishop, TX) and the host Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX), saw Bishop's basketball squad hold off Weslaco by a tally of 38-33.
With the victory, Bishop improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Sharyland (Mission, TX) to confront the Rattlers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Sharyland lost 39-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Mercedes (Mercedes, TX)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. Weslaco will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 83-48 non-league loss to United (Laredo, TX).
