December 1, 2023: Laredo, TX 78041 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Badgers (Bishop, TX) and the host Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX), saw Bishop's basketball squad overcome Alexander by a tally of 49-36.
With the victory, Bishop improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Nixon (Laredo, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Nixon won 53-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Weslaco (Weslaco, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Cole Cougars (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Alexander will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 44-31 non-league win over McAllen (McAllen, TX).
