Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX), 57-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Canyon upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Cougars host Churchill (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Churchill lost 47-44 in their recent league bout against Marshall (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Cedar Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 47-27 non-league win over Caprock (Amarillo, TX).
