Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Freeport Bulldogs (Freeport, FL) and the host Walton Braves (DeFuniak Springs, FL), saw Freeport's basketball squad hold off Walton by a tally of 49-48.

With the victory, Freeport improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Holmes County (Bonifay, FL) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Braves confront the Chipley Tigers (Chipley, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Walton will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 60-24 non-league loss to Graceville (Graceville, FL).
