The Freer Buckaroos basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Progreso Red Ants to 26 in the Buckaroos non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Buckaroos now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Isidro for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Freer will battle a Tigers team coming off a 90-26 non-league loss to Harvest Christian (Edinburg, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.

The Red Ants (6-3) will now prepare for their game against McMullen County (Tilden, TX). The Cowboys enter the non-league game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, McMullen County knocked off San Isidro (San Isidro, TX), 42-38, in a non-league game.
