In Friday's non-league outing, the Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX), by a margin of 34-13.

The Buckaroos (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against McMullen County (Tilden, TX). The Cowboys go into the non-league outing with a 6-0 record. In their last outing, McMullen County smashed San Isidro (San Isidro, TX), 42-38, in a non-league outing.
