Alabama High School Basketball - Section overwhelms Whitesburg Christian Academy
November 30, 2023: Huntsville, AL 35802 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Section Lions (Section, AL) and the host Whitesburg Christian Academy Warriors (Huntsville, AL), saw Section's basketball squad wallop Whitesburg Christian Academy by a tally of 50-22.
With the victory, Section improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Lions host North Jackson (Stevenson, AL) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering Sentinels (Huntsville, AL) in a 2A Area 14 challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Whitesburg Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 59-28 league loss to Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL).
