November 30, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90031 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Ramona Convent Tigers (Alhambra, CA) and the host Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets (Los Angeles, CA), saw Ramona Convent's basketball squad hold off Sacred Heart of Jesus by a tally of 35-31.
With the victory, Ramona Convent improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA) to confront the Kares in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Kares come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Rio Hondo Prep lost 35-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Alhambra (Alhambra, CA)
Next up, the Comets confront the Bishop Conaty-Loretto Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Sacred Heart of Jesus will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 62-31 league loss to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA).
