November 30, 2024: Vandalia, OH 45377 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Butler Aviators (Vandalia, OH) and the visiting Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH), observed Butler's basketball team overwhelm Shawnee by a score of 53-30.
The Aviators (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenville (Greenville, OH). The Green Wave come into the Miami Valley - Valley challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Greenville was routed by Arcanum (Arcanum, OH), 71-37, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Braves encounter the Graham Local Falcons (St. Paris, OH) in a Central Buckeye Conference - Mad River challenge, on Friday, December 6. Shawnee will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
