February 4, 2025: Vandalia, OH 45377 Butler Aviators (Vandalia, OH) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Bellefontaine Chieftains (Bellefontaine, OH), 58-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Butler advances its record to 15-4 on the year. The Aviators travel to Stebbins (Riverside, OH) to face the Indians in a Miami Valley - Valley match on Friday, February 7. The Indians enter the match with a record of 5-14. Stebbins won 63-33 in their recent league match against Fairborn (Fairborn, OH)
The Chieftains now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jonathan Alder for a Central Buckeye Conference - Kenton Trail match on Friday, February 7. Bellefontaine will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 62-31 non-league loss to Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-4.
