In Saturday's non-league contest, the host South Side Rams basketball team scored a close 74-72 triumph over the Hopewell Vikings.

The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Bethlehem Center nipped Bentworth (Bentleyville, PA), 62-36, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Beaver Falls Tigers (Beaver Falls, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 2. Hopewell will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
