With the victory, Westlake upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Chaparrals host Austin (Austin, TX) to face the Maroons in a 6A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, December 20. The Maroons enter the match with a record of 3-6.
The War Eagles now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Caney for a 6A Region II District 13 match on Tuesday, December 3. Oak Ridge will face a Eagles squad coming off a 52-42 league loss to Conroe (Conroe, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
