November 30, 2024: Peoria, IL 61603 The Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL) basketball were winner over the host Peoria Christian Chargers (Peoria, IL), 65-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Turks now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Farmington for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3. Tremont will play a Farmers team coming off a 65-41 non-league loss to Havana (Havana, IL). The Farmers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Peoria Christian falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL) to play the Grey Ghosts in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3.
